Yay, I'm updating within 2 weeks of my last update :P

This is going to be a quick one. I wanted to update with one icon set (The Big Bang Theory, yay!) and three colorizations! I hate colorizations in general, but I've been determined to get better. So I've been doing some tutorials and practicing and these are the fruits of my labors that I've felt are good enough to be displayed :P

Zomg, Big Bang Theory icons! XD I had fun making these, though upon reflection, some of the icons look over-shaprened ._. But I had fun making them. I played around with colors a lot (selective color is my new best friend XD) and had fun looking up quotes. Most of the quotes are from Sheldon, because he's awesome like that. The animated one was amusing to make as well, aha.

This was made directly from a colorization tutorial I found which made colorizing INFINITELY easier. Seriously. Normally it takes me HOURS to do colorizations, but this tutorial help cut down the time by A LOT. So I loved how it turned out, and obviously it turned out well cuz I did it step-by-step from the tutorial, but hey :P

My second Angelina colorization! She's so easy for me to colorize for some reason. She looks slightly orange in this one, lol, but I quite like it. Very natural :)

I just discovered this model recently. Her name is Jessica Stam and I'm loving this particular photoshoot of hers. Her eyes are gorgeous! She was supposed to be really pale in the pictures, but I tried to give her some color. It looks slightly odd, but not TOO bad in my opinion ^^;

That's all from me for now! I start work next week so I might not be able to Photoshop AS often, but I'll try to update again soon :) Side note: OMG HARRY POTTER NEXT WEEEEEEEK :D:D:D:D /fangirlmoment.

June 29, 2009 - graduated!

Hello, hello!

As of June 10, 2009, I am officially a high school graduate! Hurrah! Well, I'm not sure. The whole ceremony was so long, and I looked quite horrible in the pictures because I had gotten sunburned a few days before as I was lifeguarding for a 5th grade pool party and forgot sunscreen O.o So there's a tanline of my sunglasses on my face and my arms were peeling >.< But despite that, it was a lovely ceremony! I was nervous, but I didn't trip or anything ^^ I think my favorite part was when we finally threw up our hats (I couldn't find mine afterwards, so I took someone elses' ^^;) cuz we were all hugging and congratulating one another. It was utter pandemonium, but I liked it. Some people who I wasn't even that close to gave me such big bear hugs! It was so nice and happy :) I wasn't crying until one of my best friends (who's a year younger than me) came up in tears. I almost cried after seeing her, ahhhh. Fun stuff, in all. Grad night wasn't bad either, lol ;D

So as you can see, I have a new layout! ^^ It feautres the ever-so-lovely Ewan McGregor with lyrics from the song, "El Tango de Roxanne" from the Moulin Rouge! soundtrack. I've been listening to that soundtrack a lot lately, because hearing Ewan McGregor's voice makes he melt. That man knows how to sing, and he does it SO WELL. *sigh* He has such a lovely voice. *sighs* And the color scheme is my college colors :D Blue and brown, woo! I love those two colors anyway so it works XD

I also finished re-reading the Harry Potter series :) I forgot how much I disliked the 7th book in comparison to all the other books in the series. I mean, it's still good, but it was such a slow start! Ahhh, well. I'm currently reading Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte. I'm almost near the end. Her characters are so.. unique. I really dislike them, but in a good way(?) ^^;

I've also been watching 30 Rock and The Office (US). I love 30 Rock, but I'm having a bit more difficulty liking The Office, but that might just be because I've only watched one episode so far :P Perhaps I'll like it better the more I watch it - we'll see how that goes!

I was addicted to the Sims 3 for about two weeks during June, but I got over that addiction. My Sims kept wanting babies so I had a household with six kids. It was getting slightly ridiculous O.O

I watched Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen on Saturday. It had amazing action scenes, but not as great as the first one. Too many characters, too many robots, rather stretched out plot line.. everything was all over the place. And the Sam/Mikaela relationship story line.. ugh! But both were very nice to stare at (yes, even Megan Fox) so I can't complain XD

So anyway, I have four art pieces to share! :D One of them is a wallpaper, another is an icon set, and two are signatures that I made as requests from others.

I love love love Domo-kun. He's this Japanese cartoon and he's supposed to be bread LOL. I don't k now, he just looks so cute and amusing! So I made a Domo-kun icon set based off of it. I think it's cute ^^

I was rather fond of this wallpaper at first, but I think after looking at it so often I find more fault in it! Ah, how horrible. I still like it though, haha. Anyway, it features Ben Barnes with lyrics from the song "Falling Slowly" by Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova. It was in the movie Once. I first heard the song when Kris Allen sang it on American Idol, and I fell in love with it. I watched the movie and I loved it even more :P Credit goes to Ben Barnes Fan for the pictures, Horizon Road for the texture and material scan and stock exchange for pocket watch stock.

I made this as a request. I like it a lot, but it might just be because I'm quite partial to this Olivia Wilde photoshoot :D Credits goes to Sweet and Talented for the pictures and Jocosity @ DeviantART for the light texture.

I am absolutely in love with this signature. Once again, it features Gaspard Ulliel, but it was a request! It turned out much better than I had ever anticipated and I'm rather proud of it :) Credits goes to GaspardUlliel.net for the picture and 99mockingbirds for the texture.
